BEN CRENSHAW
Ben Crenshaw is one of the most respected individuals in the game of golf. He has been a member of the PGA TOUR for more than 35 years during which time he has accumulated 19 PGA TOUR victories including the 1984 and 1995 Masters Tournament. Mr. Crenshaw was a member of the 1981, 1983, 1987, and 1995 Ryder Cup Teams. In 1999, he served as Captain of the United States Ryder Cup Team. Under his leadership, the team came from the greatest deficit in Ryder Cup history to prevail on Sunday with a victory at The Country Club. He spends most of his time as President of Coore & Crenshaw, Inc.
Coore & Crenshaw is one of the highest regarded golf course design teams in business today. Numerous C & C golf courses are rated among the best in the world including Sand Hills in Mullen, Nebraska, currently ranked as the best modern day golf course built since 1980. Other top rated C & C projects include Bandon Trails in Bandon, Oregon, the Plantation Course at Kapalua on Maui, Hawaii, the Warren Golf Club at Notre Dame, Friars Head Golf Club on Long Island, Old Sandwich Club near Cape Cod, The Colorado Golf Club in Parker, Colorado and Hidden Creek Golf Club in New Jersey. Mr. Crenshaw’s numerous awards include the 1980 Texas Golf Hall of Fame; 1985 Golden Tee Award; 1989 William Richardson Award; 1991 Ambassador of Golf Award; and the 1991 Bob Jones Award. Mr. Crenshaw attended the University of Texas where he was the 1971, 1972, 1973 NCAA Golf Champion. In 2001, “A Feel for the Game, To Brookline and Back," published by Doubleday was released. It is an autobiographical overview of Ben’s philosophies, beliefs and strategies.

CJ McDANIEL
CJ McDaniel has over 40 years experience serving numerous organizations in the golf industry. With Ben Crenshaw, he founded Crenshaw Golf Properties with financial partner CreditSuisse FirstBoston. Formerly the senior marketing executive for Club Corporation of America, Mr. McDaniel has also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Bobby Jones, the sportswear division of Hickey Freeman Company. During his tenure, Bobby Jones sales grew from $3 million to more than $18 million domestically.
He was a principal in Cornerstone Sports, Inc., one of golf’s premier athlete management companies and was the first Director of Marketing for the PGA and PGA TOUR, jointly responsible for licensing and sponsorship programs, which generated more than $25 million in income. He was involved in the development of Springhouse Golf Club at Opryland, in Nashville Tennessee, and Squaw Creek Golf Club in Glen Rose, Texas, currently rated among the top 25 public golf courses in Texas, as well as numerous other projects. He worked for Hyatt Hotels from 1975 to 1983.
He has served as Chairman of numerous golf events and committees including The Ryder Cup Matches, The PGA Cup Matches, The PGA Championship and the Super Bowl Golf Tournament. He began his career in the golf industry in 1970 as a golf professional, playing primarily in Europe. In addition to Crenshaw Golf, he is the founder of The Sports Marketing Company. Mr. McDaniel attended the United States Air Force Academy and East Tennessee State University and has degrees in Business Administration and Psychology.
